Recommended Easter & Passover Catering Menus
Spring is upon us even as we deal with a plague that has disrupted our family and work lives and made us concerned for the health of the people who are most at risk. While these certainly aren't times we can bring families together physically, it is important to bring families and communities together, even if intermediated by technology. The Christian Easter and the Jewish Passover both at their roots celebrate stories of heroism, sacrifice, community, and faith. All things that reflect the character we need in today's challenging times. While we don't know what the future holds, we do pray that the virus will prove to be seasonal and that the beginning of spring will be a time of renewal, and that the peak of the illness will pass us soon.
Please note for our Jewish clients that we do not run a kosher kitchen and would recommend you visit a deli or kosher caterer for kosher items or specialty items like gefilte fish or a Seder plate.
The design of our menus this year, unfortunately, is focused on smaller gatherings in a nuclear household. Whether you call friends on the telephone, facetime with friends, or zoom with a broader family on the screen, we really hope you are able to bring a larger group together into the conversation at your table.
If you are a facility hosting essential workers or a larger group of residents, please let us know your requirements and we'll work with you to make friendly to serve to a larger group of people in an appropriate fashion with the equipment available onsite. We know how hard it can be to have to spend a holiday at work, and we'd love to help bring a modicum of cheer to those who are working on our front lines and keeping people safe.
