Unfortunately, Wayfarer's Chapel has experienced extensive damage due to land movement on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Our hearts break to see the damage.

For couples who need a place to move their ceremony and/or reception we have a historic landmark wedding venue in Long Beach where we will donate a portion of any wedding back to the Chapel's repair if you've had to move your wedding due to it's unfortunate closure.

Weddings at Wayfarer's Chapel

Imagine your wedding in one of the most romantic and awe-inspiring places on earth —The Wayfarers Chapel, also known as the “Glass Chapel”. For over fifty years The Wayfarers Chapel has welcomed couples from all religious backgrounds to celebrate their wedding in this natural sanctuary.

The natural plantings inside the Chapel eliminate the need for expensive flower arrangements. Music is played by the Chapel keyboardist, or you may have The Chapel Musicians play, allowing you to choose a wide variety of music. Candles on the altar are lighted for your ceremony. For evening ceremonies a Candlelight option is available. The Chapel’s wedding staff guides you from your initial contact through your wedding day including a planning conference, your rehearsal and the wedding ceremony. One of the Chapel Ministers meets with you well before the wedding day to plan your wedding ceremony, as well as conducting your marriage service.

Designed by Lloyd Wright, the all glass sanctuary is nestled in a grove of towering redwood trees and surrounded by 3.5 acres of beautifully landscaped lawns and gardens with a panoramic ocean view of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island. The exquisite Rose Garden forms a stunning background for wedding photography and videography. Evening ceremonies provide an enchanting candlelight atmosphere.
