Our client, a loving wife and animal lover, hosted a fantastic birthday dinner celebration for her husband on Saturday, September 6th. The event was held on their beautiful property in Agoura Hills, CA where the host also runs a dog and animal rescue. Per the client’s request, we designed the event to have a fun and relaxed feel where the guests could enjoy themselves, the event, and the beautiful setting. Throughout the event, singer and songwriter Matt Shockley (http://mattshockley.com) performed intimate, yet soulful covers of popular, well-liked music to entertain guests. The combination of the host's generous spirit, delicious food, two-legged and four-legged guests, and beautiful music ensured a successful and wonderful night for all attendees.
Decorations for this party consisted of green linens for the table, along with candles and bright sunflowers as the centerpiece. Guests could choose their meal from three dinner stations. The menu featured a gourmet pizza station, pasta station with a variety of sauces and seasonal toppings, and a Mexican gordidas station with house smoked chicken. In addition, a signature cocktail called the Hibuscu-rita containing Hisbiscus tea, tequila, Orange brandy, and Fresh lime juice was provided to wash it all down. Finally, a delicious dessert station filled with the husband's favorite ice creams and toppings was set up for all guests to indulge and enjoy. Overall, this was a celebration you did not want to miss!
We featured disposable utensils and plates were supplied by Green Sapling. This included Leaf Plates, Leaf Bowls, and Cutlery (spoons, knives, forks). All Green Sapling products are eco-friendly and completely disposable, non-toxic, free of any bonding or chemical agents and made of nothing but leaves, water and steam.
