This past Saturday the Bite Team had the pleasure of catering a special screening of Mr. Peabody and Sherman hosted by Merrill Lynch for company employees and family. We put together a special menu inspired by the movie and crafted to simultaneously appeal to both adults and kids. We designed a modern and eclectic buffet that featured lots of color, various texture, and prints of the film characters for some detail.
We love working at unique non-event venues like theaters. Not only is it more fun and creative for your guests but It also gives us a chance to really think outside the box in terms of service and setup. The AMC theater did not have a kitchen so we had to make sure our hot options were served just right! Because service itself was only one hour we designed everything on the buffet to be grab and go. This made sure guests were served warm food as prompt as possible.
Individual parfaits with honey, vanilla bean, fruit, and granola. Check out all the cute mini chalk board signage we created!
We have such a neat inventory of décor items and pieces that we fortunately get to use for our client events. Like these rustic wooden crates we used to stage the refreshing juice station.
Our menu was designed with both kids and adults in mind.
Chef Elizabeth is a passionate basket collector and we have quite the selection to choose from at the Bite headquarters! Here we got some of our favorite ones to display bagels and chocolate chip banana muffins.
We made an assortment of breakfast tea sandwiches both savory and sweet: Turkey & Cheese w/Arugula + Cucumber & Cream Cheese + Nutella!
And the final detail that really sealed the event was the smiling Bite Team rocking the super faboosh Mr. Peabody & Sherman look. #vogue
