We recently had the exciting opportunity to do what caterers so rarely get to do - cater a hotel event! Bite Catering was brought into the Four Seasons Westlake Village to cater an uber-chic and elegant bridal shower brunch in one of the outdoor lawns of the hotel. The space had a beautiful small lake with a rocky waterfall that served as serene backdrop for the event. The bridal shower was marked with all white tables, and linens and included an partitioned off with white draping to create beautiful outdoor lounge with exquisite white furniture. The centerpieces added a burst of summer color on the tables with a variety of different seasonal blooms. Some of my favorite details from the event included childhood photos of the engaged couple as well as "Sunglass Favor Station" prompting guests to grab sunglasses so that they won't be blinded by the guest of honor's beautiful bridal glow! :) Perfect idea considering the event was outdoors and sunny - also the reason why the tables came with umbrellas to provide shading.
I approached the menu with a refreshing, fun, and fine options in mind. To start, the passed bites we served included delicious brunch options like Oatmeal Creme Brulee Bites and Strawberry Smoothie Shots as well as a crowd favorite, the Mini Chicken n' Waffle Bites with Sage Brown Maple Butter. In addition to passed bites, we created an assortment of brunch stations like a Bread and Pastry Bar as well as a Bagel Bar that included assorted toppings like cream cheese and smoked salmon. One particularly fun station to note was the beverage display in which we not only provided ice cold lemonade and lemon-cucumber mint water but also provided various mixings for guests to create custom mimosas, blinis, and bloody marys at the bar.
