Nestled in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, Millwick served as the enchanting backdrop for Emily and Garth's wedding day, a celebration of simple romance and exquisite culinary delights. As the chosen caterer for this special occasion, our team embarked on a journey to create a menu that would complement the couple's love story and delight the taste buds of all their guests.

Passed Appetizers:

The evening commenced with an array of carefully crafted passed appetizers, each bite a testament to the artistry of our culinary team. The mini cheese tasting in an apple cup, adorned with roasted pears and Cambozola, set the tone for the evening – a perfect blend of sweet and savory.

The steakhouse bites, featuring seared steak with truffled spinach on a parmesan crisp, were presented on elegant silver spoons. While guests marveled at the exquisite flavors, a note from the tasting urged us to ensure the steak was more tender. We took this feedback to heart, ensuring that the main event would showcase the perfect tenderness that Emily and Garth envisioned.

The miso-glazed wild sockeye salmon cubes, paired with wasabi green and micro cilantro on delicate white spoons, provided a burst of flavor. A gentle reminder to go easy on the wasabi guided our chefs to strike the ideal balance, ensuring that every guest could savor the salmon's rich taste without overpowering heat.

Buffet Extravaganza:

Moving on to the buffet, guests were treated to a Farmers' Market Chopped Salad – a vibrant mix of roasted red peppers, grilled corn, roasted mushrooms, asparagus, and avocado tossed over chopped romaine lettuce. The toasted black peppercorn vinaigrette added a zesty kick, making it a refreshing and visually stunning dish.

For the entrees, a grilled Pacific catch with cilantro jalapeno oil and grilled scallions graced the tables alongside a stuffed chicken breast with mushroom ducelles and cream sauce. Each dish was carefully crafted to cater to a variety of tastes, ensuring that every guest found something to love.

Sides to Savor:

The accompanying sides were no less impressive. A warm potato salad with green beans and salsa verde brought comfort and warmth, while the summer veggie medley added a burst of color and freshness to the feast. The sides were designed to complement the main courses and create a well-rounded culinary experience for all in attendance.
