Our Kitchen Managers are responsible for production, upholding Bite standards and daily kitchen operations through direct hands-on involvement with every step of the culinary process. You will be responsible for prep, overseeing and training our culinary team and, in the absence of our Lead Chefs you will assumes responsibility for our kitchen to ensure everything is prepared beautifully on time and to Bite specifications.
This is an ideal gig for somebody who wants a solid part-time gig with the ability to take on additional prep and event work as you availability/schedule allows.
Bite Catering Couture offers a catering Kitchen Manager role designed for smart, ambitious chefs who can do a bit of everything and enjoy learning.
We have a team of down-to-earth chefs all looking to teach and learn those who want to learn. We have a well-equipped kitchen (lots of toys) and we produce everything from highly thematic cocktail parties to large sit-down galas.
We are looking for somebody curious about food who is a strong chef generalist - excited about using a broad range of food, techniques, ingredients, and approaches as befits a caterer constantly creating menus tailored to a variety of client needs and events.
We run in a fairly detail and process-oriented way and we look for somebody who will help us enforce (and improve) our process.

Base Hourly Rate: Kitchen Rate $24/hr, $30/hr event pay +$50-$100 Event Bonuses depending on responsibilities
