Studio 1342 - Event Space Overview

Centrally located on La Brea just north of Pico Blvd., Studio 1342 provides a beautiful photography and filming studio as an event space with extensive amenities and even more character. The venue provides 3,400 square feet of boutique daylight studio space and 5,000 sq. ft. of outdoor courtyard and lush garden area. It is a perfect location for not only photography and filming, but also both social and corporate events like weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, birthdays holiday parties, and product launches. The multi-purpose venue is also marked with beautiful murals and art installations that provide a charming and unique feel to your event. The courtyard of Studio 1342 is the perfect location for an outdoor reception and/or cocktail hour area if hosting a wedding. The space includes bright blue patio furniture; an full bar setup area with a refrigerator; 2 large whimsical chandeliers; and a hubcap mural art installation perfect for photo opportunities.

The garden is the perfect spot for a garden ceremony. The space features a patio swing, bonfire lounge area with furniture, and is adorned with market lights that look stunning at night. The grass lawn that faces the white brick exterior of the studio has a projector that can be used to show movies or videos on the studio's wall.

The studio at Studio 1342 includes a full kitchen; 40 ft of 10" windows with southwest exposure; full black capability; hair and wardrobe vanity room; i-Pod ready sound system; and, 4 large skylights.

Price Range and Elements

Rental fee is determined by a fee structure based on capacity of up to 50 people; up to 125 people; and, up to 225 people. Rates also vary based on Friday and Sunday vs. on Saturday.

Included/ Available With Rental

All furniture atStudio 1342 is included in your rental, including indoor and outdoor lounge furniture as well as 6 highboy cocktail tables.

All wedding rentals include 1 hour of rehearsal scheduled the week of the event day.

Loft space/bridal suite is included for weddings, capacity 12 persons

Indoor and outdoor iPod-ready sound systems.

Mounted projector inside the studio with a DVD player and also laptop compatible.

Outdoor full bar setup with a refrigerator.

Client can bring in their own alcohol.

Full kitchen with oven, stove, and refrigerator inside the studio, but it is advised for catering to build a kitchen if using inside for guest reception space.

Professional hair and makeup area with shower.

Outdoor fire pit with patio furniture.

Additional rentals include 20" disco ball (light and motor included); PA system for ceremonies and speeches; portable projector for indoor/outdoor use; and patio heaters.

Restrictions/ Rules to Keep in Mind

A day of site manager and concierge is required for your event.

All event rentals are based on a 12-hour event window, however next day pickups are permissible pending studio availability and for an additional charge.

Valet service is required for all events. A list of recommended valet vendors is available upon request.
